The chief editor can edit a page assigned to another collaborator. If they choose, they can also grant this ability to the associate editor.
“Editing a page” means modifying its content: writing text and adding images.
The chief editor (and the associate editor, if authorized) can only edit one page at a time.
To edit a page, click the “Take over” icon in the toolbar above the page. This action has two effects:
The person initiating the take over can now modify the page.
The collaborator to whom the page is assigned temporarily loses editing access (rule: only one editor per page).

To end the takeover, click the “End takeover” icon in the toolbar above the page.
This action also has two effects:
The person who was editing the page can no longer edit it
The assigned collaborator regains editing access.
If there is prolonged inactivity, the takeover automatically ends, and control is returned to the collaborator.
The chief editor (and the associate editor, if applicable) can take over any assigned page as many times as needed.
