What is multilateral collaboration?
By default, collaboration is hierarchical — top-down then bottom-up.
For example:
The Chief Redactor assigns 3 pages to Associate Editor 1, who then assigns 1 to writer 1 and 2 to writer 2.
Pages then follow a reverse path for validation (Writer → Associate Editor → Chief Redactor).
However, the Chief Redactor can enable multilateral collaboration, either:
Between Associate Editor
Or between all collaborators (Associate Editors and Writers)
In this case, the page flow is no longer restricted. For example:
Writer 1 can assign a page to Writer 2
Writer 1 can transfer a page to Writer 2 or back to the Chief Redactor.
This is useful when the Chief Redactor wants to grant nearly equal power to their deputies.
